The Windsor Police Association is a Professional Association representing police officers working for the City of Windsor. They were looking to update the current look of their building, while keeping it conservative but with a modern flare.

The Before

Front overhang of shingles makes the exterior look very dated. The brick on the front will stay uncovered, but not with the same colour.

Very plain sides of the building. The orange/red/brown colour scheme was not helping the vibe of the overall design.

The same feeling for the sides also applies to the back wall. Needs some updating and modernization.

The Mock-up Design

The brick on the front exterior was updated with paint to match the rest of the new design. The shingle overhang was replaced wth horizontal “wood” siding to square off and level the top. Also added in some nice large steel address numbers.

All 3 sides of the building now have vertical charcoal grey steel siding. The wood architectural panel also runs down the full length of the sides.

The back of the building has been updated with the steel siding as well as new finishes. This includes new concrete stairs, with room for a new railing and updated door.
